Newcastle United captain Yohan Cabaye says home fans will be key in their Europa League clash with Anzhi.

The Russians visit St James' Park for the second-leg with aggregate scores locked at 0-0.

Cabaye said: "We will be positive and we have confidence too. We will have the backing of our fans - that is important to us.

"We know there will be a big crowd at St James' Park. We want to do well for them, and reach the quarter-finals.

"That is our aim, and we will do everything to achieve this - we want to stay in this competition."
