Yohan Cabaye says he owes Newcastle United for helping him get back into the France team.

Cabaye is now a first-choice for his national team thanks to his form with the Toon.

"Moving to Newcastle has helped me a lot with France.

"The Premier League is a different league from France and at Newcastle we had some really good results and did well last season.

"It has helped me go back to the French national team with a lot of confidence and I'm a better player than I was when I first came to England. It has been a big boost to my international career, it has taught me so much.

"The best thing about coming here has to be playing in the Premier League.

"It's the best league in the world for me, every week is competitive.

"When you play at SJP, the stadium is full and it's the same when you play away, the atmosphere is incredible and it makes you proud to play here.

"The worst has to be the weather!"
