Cabaye fit as Crystal Palace get set for Man City

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has declared midfielder Yohan Cabaye fit ahead of the Saturday's top-of-the-table clash against Manchester City.

The 29-year-old came off injured during France's friendly against Portugal last week, but Pardew has revealed that it was only a precaution

"Yohan came off as a precaution. He has had problems with his groin and he felt a little bit in the scar tissue," said Pardew in his pre-match conference.

"He did the sensible thing in coming off and he has trained today [Thursday] and he was magnificent."

The Eagles currently sit second on the Premier League table on nine points from four matches, three behind the highly-flying Sky Blues.
