The French midfielder refused to play for the Magpies in their opening Premier League fixtures against Manchester City and West Ham United and first Capital One Cup clash with Morecambe as he strived to force a transfer to Arsenal.
Cabaye remained at St James' Park and has since been penalised for his actions with all parties now putting the topic behind them.
"He has been disciplined for his action. He has accepted it and we move on," he told the Chronicle.
"It was accepted in good faith and his performance last week spoke a thousand words.
"It is about performances. Newcastle fans want to see him pull on the shirt and perform."
