BVB starlet Sancho: How I upset Man City captain Kompany

Borussia Dortmund starlet Jadon Sancho has revealed the time he received a rap over the knuckles from former Manchester City teammate Vincent Kompany.

During his time at Man City, he was keen to show off his skills in front of Kompany, who wasn't left best pleased.

"I nutmegged the captains of Dortmund (Marcel Schmelzer) and City (Vincent Kompany) and they said 'don't do that again'. They don't like it," Sancho told JD Sports .

It appears he didn't learn his lesson the first time after also performing the stunt on Schmelzer at his new club.

Despite Sancho showing his age at the time, the youngster did add that he has grown up as a player now.

"I was always skillful as a youngster but now I don't do skills as much because the game has got quicker and it's more serious," added the teenager.

"Getting my first league call-up was a big opportunity. I just wanted to express myself. I'm more mature now, I know when to release the ball. I'm not greedy but I just want to show what I can do."
