Borussia Dortmund will not consider taking back Henrikh Mkhitaryan in January.
The Armenian was again overlooked for last night's EFL Cup win over Manchester City amid talk of him being sold in January.
BILD says BVB management are pleased with the deal done, having sold Mkhitaryan for €42 million, despite the midfielder's contract expiring in June.
And they have also ruled out re-signing the player as there's still bitterness over his behaviour and that of agent Mino Raiola during transfer talks.
"Every intelligent player should first think about the environment in which he works," BVB chief Hans-Joachim Watzke commented last week. If you play in a working environment like in Dortmund, it is doubtful you'll find the same elsewhere."
