Borussia Dortmund chief Michael Zorc admits he doesn't want to sell Ilkay Gundogan to a Bundesliga rival.
The Germany midfielder has been linked with Manchester United, Arsenal and Bayern Munich since it emerged he won't consider extending his current BVB deal.
"Since my wishes in this case, count relatively little, it is not really decisive for a war. Of course, I'd rather he does not go to a competitor within the Bundesliga," said Zorc to BILD.
Gundogan will be sold this summer with his contract due to expire in 2016.
"If it makes good business sense as much as there is no alternative, then we will certainly sell him."
