Manchester United are close to agreement for Borussia Dortmund star Shinji Kagawa. United had an opening offer for the Japan international rejected last week.
However, Kicker says United are closing in on a £12m deal, which could rise to £17.5m depending on his performance.
Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc says the agreement with United is almost complete.
He said: "Some details are still to be confirmed."
