Borussia Dortmund chief Michael Zorc has confirmed interest in Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata.
However, Zorc admits they will struggle to come up with the finances needed to bring the Spain international to Germany.
"I would say that Morata is too expensive, without knowing the exact amounts," Zorc told BILD.
"We naturally have candidates in mind. But the position of a real striker is currently the hardest to fill in European football.
"That is why we have resisted the departure of (Pierre-Emerick) Aubameyang for so long, he was a guarantee for goals. At the moment I have no idea about the transfer market, and not just in the field of strikers, it has lost contact with reality a bit. Very high prices are mentioned.
"We have to act with care and do not do crazy things. Especially because we already have players in the team who can play in this position."
