Borussia Dortmund chief Hans-Joachim Watzke wants Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's future settled this week.
Liverpool, Chelsea and Milan have been strongly linked with the striker recently after previous speculation - and comments from the player - suggested a move to Real Madrid was more likely.
Speaking with Welt am Sonntag Watzke said: "We have not had any offers. We will wait a few more days but not much longer.
"We have told Aubameyang: 'if you want to move and have a club ready to meet our conditions, come to us and we can will talk about it'," Watzke continued. "But we also explained that this is only possible within a certain time frame. We must find a replacement, which is difficult, if not impossible.
"Personally, I would prefer that he stays with us, but there are a few clubs on this planet where he can obviously earn more."
