Arsenal have reportedly approached Borussia Dortmund's Thomas Tuchel.

German outlet Bild suggest that Tuchel has 'received a request' from the Gunners regarding their managerial role.

Arsene Wenger continues to be linked with a summer departure after 21 years in North London and it appears as though the Arsenal hierarchy are keen on BVB boss Tuchel.

43-year-old former Mainz boss Tuchel has been in charge at the Westfalenstadion since 2015 and currently has the Schwarzgelben sitting third on the Bundesliga table.

However, conflicting reports indicate that Wenger could still stay on at the Emirates Stadium for another season making their so-called interest in Tuchel somewhat futile.
