BVB better Man Utd, Spurs offers for Malcom, but Bordeaux demand more

Manchester United and Tottenham have been joined by Borussia Dortmund in the race for Bordeaux attacker Malcom.

The Sun says Spurs have denied tabling a £31 million bid for the youngster who has hit seven league goals this term.

However Dortmund will go head-to-head with the Premier League side for the attacker as they still hunt for a replacement for Ousmane Dembele who joined Barcelona.

The Bundesliga giants had a £35m bid rejected last summer with Bordeaux sticking to their whopping £45m valuation.

Manchester United have also been monitoring things, Jose Mourinho likes the forward but is not prepared to go anywhere near the French outfit's demands.

Bordeaux boss Jocelyn Gourvennec conceded: "I build for the sequel with Malcom. The football is football, I do not imagine so far that he can leave but you never know.

"I'm not the ultimate decision maker for the club and the market remains the market."
