Vitesse Arnhem fullback Alexander Buttner wants to sign for Southampton.
Despite visiting and holding talks with Fulham and QPR, Buttner has his heart on joining Saints.
He told De Telegraaf: "The club, the stadium and the reception really surprised me. Beautiful. And Southampton has big ambitions. With the new owner they want to be chasing Manchester City."
