Butt enjoying coach's life at Man Utd

Nicky Butt is enjoying his coaching this season at Manchester United.

Butt has worked closely with Warren Joyce at Under-21 level but has been handed the task of handling an Under-19 squad by David Moyes with the inaugural European competition starting this season.

"I'm really enjoying it," Butt explained to ManUtd.com. "I've probably been here just over a year now so it's all going well.

"It's good getting a lot of experience and I've been at the club most of my life as well so it's great to be back here and working with people that I have known for a long, long time. All in all, it's a great way to learn my trade and, although I know I've got a long way to go yet, it's going well so far.

"It is my first competitive match. I took a few games in the summer and worked with Warren as well with the Under-21s, but this is the first game I'm taking on my own. I'll have the advice of the other coaches as well around me and obviously the players as well.

"It's something I'm looking forward to. I have a good group of players and it's a very prestigious tournament."
