Real Madrid chief Emilio Butragueno says they're confident overturning their transfer ban.

Clear in his opinion on the matter, Real's Director of International Relations thinks the two-window sanction is excessive and unwarranted.

"I like being responsible with the institutions, but they must live up to their responsibilities as well," Butragueno told BeIN Sports. "The sanction was both surprising and unfair."

People within Los Blancos organisation remain hopeful the CAS will rule in their favour after the appeal they issued after the ban became public.
