Real Madrid legend Emilio Butragueno says Florentino Perez must return as president. On the eve of this morning's media conference where Perez will announce he is standing for the Real presidency, Butragueno said: "Madrid needs a president with great intelligence and with a sense of ethics ... and Florentino has all these ingredients.

"His victory is more than probable, and I'm being cautious."

Butragueno added: "The current squad has very good players, but is missing some things. If you took away from Barcelona Xavi, Andres Iniesta and Lionel Messi it would be a different team ..."
