Emilio Butragueno is convinced Florentino Perez would win the Real Madrid presidency easily.

Perez is still to declare whether he will stand for the summer elections, but former Real striker Butragueno declared: "I see Florentino Perez as extraordinary. For me it was a privilege to work with him.

"He is a person who does not need money or fame and he feels a very profound way for Real Madrid. And he has a vision beyond the ordinary. He did a tremendous job in the first four years, although in the latter two made mistakes.

"However, if he stands, he will win by far because he has a lot of credit with the Madridismo. But I stress this is speculation at the moment, we must be cautious."
