Inverness Caledonian Thistle boss Terry Butcher has criticised Celtic's Ki Sung-Yong for his "shocking" tackle on Lee Cox that could leave him sidelined for six weeks. Cox had to be stretchered off as a result of the South Korea international's challenge at the tail end of Wednesday evening's 6-0 battering in the Co-operative Insurance Cup.
"Lee's in plaster now and has had X-rays that the specialist will assess today," Butcher told the Daily Record.
"We could be looking at five to six weeks - and that's a massive blow for us. Lee has hurt his fibula on the outside of his ankle.
"It swelled up after the game and he's in a lot of pain. The Celtic player Ki didn't use a key, he used a sledgehammer. It was a shocking challenge.
"There may be a fracture, we don't know - we'll just have to wait and see."
