England legend Terry Butcher has slammed Roy Keane for saying Manchester United winger Nani deserved his red card during defeat to Champions League opponents Real Madrid. Keane upset United fans with the claims.
And Inverness Caley boss Butcher wrote in the Mirror: "Roy did himself no favours by insisting Nani deserved his red card. Anyone who has played the game knew it wasn't a sending off but Keane ventured down a path of pure fantasy trying to defend the decision of the Turkish referee. Bizarre, like the official."
