Sergio Busquets is expected to sign a new deal with Barcelona today. The midfielder has been linked with Manchester United, but verbally agreed personal terms over a new deal last week.
El Mundo Deportivo says Busquets will sign his new contract before training this morning. The deal will run to 2016 and see his buyout clause raised.
With Busquets' renewal, the club has secured the backbone of the team for many years - Victor Valdés and David Villa until 2014, Andres Iniesta, Pedro, Gerard Pique to 2015 and Xavi and Lionel Messi to June 2016.
