Business booming for ex-Corrie star thanks to Man Utd players

Business is good for ex-Coronation Street star Charlie Lawson - thanks to Manchester United.

Wayne Rooney and Edwin van der Sar love his new Cheshire farm shop.

Lawson says business is booming because of the Red Devils.

A source told the Scottish Sun: "Rooney and Van der Sar can't stop gobbling Big Jim's meat as they think it's their lucky charm on the field."

They might want to have a rethink after Saturday's game.

Charlie said: "Wayne and Van der Sar love the place.

"Wayne lives near here and likes to get here early doors so he can avoid any attention.

"His wife Coleen also does a normal bigger shop in the place.

"She was in to get the usual before the Champions League match."

"She picks up ham, pork, veg and eggs - and Van der Sar is on the same grub."
