Bury FC say they will donate the gate from their friendly with Sunderland to Bradley Lowery’s charity.
The six-year-old Black Cats fan, who became best mates with Jermain Defoe, tragically passed away on Friday afternoon after a long battle with cancer.
His smiling image beamed on the giant screen at Gigg Lane throughout the first pre-season friendly, which ended in a 3-2 win for Sunderland, sub Josh Maja at the double to clinch a come-from-behind victory.
The Chairman has confirmed that all gate receipts for this evening's game will go to the @Bradleysfight Charity #buryfc@SunderlandAFC — Bury Football Club (@buryfcofficial) July 7, 2017
