Burton Albion chairman Ben Robinson claims the Brewers are owed around £20,000 by League Two rivals Notts County in unpaid ticket sales. The Brewers say they have yet to receive the money from cash-strapped Notts County for the allocation they sold their fans for the League Two game at the Pirelli Stadium on December 28.
Robinson told Sky Sports News: "They sold their full allocation of tickets, which amounts to about £20,000. We spoke to them before the game and they assured us it would be paid, it wasn't.
"(Notts executive chairman) Peter Trembling has rang me and said he has had talks with the FA about them paying us the money from their cup run. We have been assured we will get our money, but we will have to wait and see.
"But if they go out of business, which I hope they don't, that money will be lost. We will just be another creditor and will get little, if any, of the money we are owed."
