Bursaspor drop interest in Rangers pair Whittaker, McGregor

Turkish Super Lig club Bursaspor are believed to have dropped their pursuit of Rangers duo Steven Whittaker and Allan McGregor. The Green Crocodiles already pilfered Kenny Miller from Ibrox and were hoping to bring in a couple more key players from the Scottish title-winning squad but recent reports say that the aforementioned pair will be too hard to pry away from Glasgow.

Bursa thought they may have been able to pinch wingback Whittaker for around £1million as his contract at Ibrox has just a year left but new 'Gers boss Ally McCoist is determined to keep him whilst goalkeeper McGregor has been valued at £5million which is apparently too expensive for the Turks.
