Newcastle midfielder Henri Saivet is on the cusp of joining Turkish side Bursapor.

The Frenchman is expected to sign a season-long loan. He was snapped leaving Newcastle airport on Wednesday.

He told BeIN Sport Turkey: "I am very happy that I came to Bursaspor. It was very important for me to be transferred here for my career.

"I will be training with the team after the health check tomorrow. We worked together too, and hopefully everything will be fine."
