Aussie striker Nathan Burns is now establishing himself at AEK Athens. The former Adelaide United attacker made his senior breakthrough a fortnight ago and told the Sunday Mail: "It's awesome to be playing again, its good to be back out there playing in front of 30-40,000 people every week. It's a great feeling, there's nothing better.
"It's a step up from Australia plus we're one of the three biggest clubs in Greece so we are not only expected to win most games but play good football.
"Athens is very touristy place and everyone speaks English here, and the lifestyle and the weather are very good.
"My Greek is bad. I can't string too much together but I've picked up the basic words, enough to get by.
"But I know the football terms and I don't need translation now at training."
