Burnley are willing to make Michael Keane among the best paid players in their history.
The Lancashire Evening Telegraph says the Clarets have offered Keane a new four-year deal that would make him one of the highest paid players in the club's history in a bid to ward off interest from Leicester City.
The Premier League champions have made Keane their number one defensive target this summer and have already seen a bid that could have risen to a total of £15million rejected by the Clarets.
The Foxes haven't been back with a new offer since the start of last week, but they retain a strong interest in the 23-year-old.
