Striker Danny Ings has said that Burnley will always remain in his heart in an emotional goodbye to the club.

Ings announced his departure from the Lancashire club on Tuesday after spending four years at Turf Moor and admitted it was an emotional moment.

He said: "I was an 18-year-old boy when I came here, now I'm 22 and I look like I'm 30!

"I've been working hard over the last four years to try to be the best I can be, and try to be the best I can be for Burnley Football Club.

"Everyone knows how much I love Burnley Football Club and that it will always be in my heart."

Ings is expected to remain in the Premier League following the Claret's relegation with Liverpool and Tottenham showing significant interest.
