Former Vancouver Whitecaps winger Dane Richards is kicking off his career with Burnley.

Richards will sign for the Clarets in January.

"He is coming in to meet and greet to get a feel of the place," Burnley manager Sean Dyche said on the team's website. "He is obviously jet-lagged and he will be integrated slowly but surely.

"It's a big change for him in a lot of ways, so it will have to be slowly but surely as he will have to be brought up to speed with what we have been doing."
