Burnley veteran Duff planning career in management

Burnley defender Michael Duff says he is planning for life after his playing career.

The 37-year old believes he has it in him to continue playing for a little while yet but is looking towards the coaching caper by undertaking his Pro Licence.

"I have no plans to stop playing at the minute," said the former Northern Ireland international.

"I still love getting up for training in the morning. It's not a bad job running around chasing after a football.

"But you look at the game differently when you get to my age.

"The Pro Licence is nearly all based on management, so you look at sessions differently, look at the manager's presentations - and this one isn't a bad manager to learn from."

Duff joined the Clarets from Cheltenham Town in 2004 and has made over 340 appearances for the Lancashire club.
