Burnley veteran Graham Alexander says 'splitting up' with Matt Elliott at Scunthorpe United was the making of his career!

At Scunthorpe, he shared a house with Elliott, who would go on to play for Leicester and Scotland.

"We were just two lads growing up. Men Behaving Badly, I suppose. But we had a laugh. We never worried about the trappings, just our next match, our next night out, our next weekend. Matt then got a great move to Oxford and, career-wise, that was great for me," Alexander jokingly told the Sunday Times.
