Burnley are close to securing the services of Sheffield United striker Billy Sharp.

The 24-year old is expected to join the Clarets for £1million and the deal will more than likely be completed early this week.

Sharp has been attracting interest from the likes of Leeds United and Doncaster Rovers but Burnley have come in with the highest bid and it is almost certain he will land at Turf Moor.
