Houston Dynamo midfielder Stuart Holden's trials at Burnley are in doubt.
The USA international was heading to Turf Moor to train under Clarets boss Owen Coyle but with Coyle now expected to agree a move to Bolton Wanderers, Holden's future is again up-in-the-air.
A move to Bolton could be on for the Houston star, with former manager Gary Megson bemoaning the lack of a goal scoring midfielder in the guise of ex-captain Kevin Nolan, now with Newcastle United.
Holden is a free agent and along with Burnley, has also been linked with Everton and Rangers.
