Burnley are chasing Leeds United boss Simon Grayson.
The Mirror says Grayson has been on the Clarets wish-list for a couple of years and was considered for the post when he was in charge of Blackpool before Owen Coyle got the nod.
But now operations director Brendan Flood is trying to find out if Grayson will come - despite getting little encouragement.
Flood wants to make an approach to Grayson or his agent once Coyle's on-hold move to Bolton is finalised.
Burnley want a 'young and hungry' boss but they need to find out if Grayson has the appetite for a move to the Premier League outfit with the smallest budget.
