Burnley attacker Chris Wood was happy to get back to the scoresheet during the Clarets' 2-1 victory over Bournemouth.

Burnley continued their wonderful run of form with a win over Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Wednesday night and following the game, Clarets attacker Wood – who scored for the first time in six encounters during the clash - stated that he was delighted to find the net once again.

Wood said: “It's been a tough couple of weeks and it's nice to be back in. It's always nice to get on the scoresheet but it's even better we got three points.

“We are a team that's building and it's nice to see us playing such good football and the results coming, which is great."
