Burnley striker Rouwen Hennings is ready to make a permanent move to Bundesliga 2 side Fortuna Dusseldorf.
The 29-year-old spent last season on loan with Fortuna from Turf Moor, scoring nine goals in 30 appearances, 29 of which were starts.
Hennings told BILD: "I only recently learned that Burnley is not planning with me. Now I can make a final decision about my future. Obviously Fortuna is a very good option for me."
Fortuna coach Friedhelm Funkel has been keen to keep Hennings at the club after his success loan spell last season and may now look to try and secure a deal.
