Burnley striker Steven Fletcher admits he struggled to come down from the buzz of defeating Manchester United two weeks ago at Turf Moor.

"That was a great night," he beamed. "The atmosphere around the stadium was amazing and that got us through it as much as playing well.

"It's been the highlight of my time down there so far, no doubt. It was a great night for all the boys and a great finish from Blakey. I got home and stayed up until about half two in the morning, just sitting there. I had family down so we all celebrated a good win and watched the rerun of the match on TV a few times."
