Burnley's Ings eyes Liverpool over Real Sociedad

Danny Ings would prefer to stay in England than move to Spain in the summer according to reports.

The Burnley striker is being linked with a possible move to Real Sociedad at the end of the season but Sky Sports suggests he would prefer to remain in his homeland and join Liverpool who have also been credited with an interest.

22-year old Ings is out of contract at Turf Moor in the summer and is yet to extend with the Clarets meaning he is free to sign a pre-contract agreement with a club abroad.

There were reports that the England U21 international had done just that with David Moyes' Sociedad but he has not signed any agreement anywhere according to more recent reports which has prompted further speculation that a shift to Anfield could be on the cards.
