Burnley remain locked in talks with West Brom for Jay Rodriguez and Craig Dawson.
The Mirror says the Baggies are adamant that the Premier League Clarets' initial £25million offer for the pair is not good enough.
But relegated Albion have not ruled out selling the duo for the right price.
Ex-Burnley striker Rodriguez,28, scored 11 goals last term, while stopper Dawson,28, is a key player for the Hawthorns outfit.
The pair are keen to stay in the top-flight and have been hit by hefty wage reductions after West Brom's relegation.
