Burnley remain in the hunt for Bournemouth defender Steve Cook.

The Lancashire Evening Telegraph says the Clarets are one of five Premier League clubs interested in Bournemouth star Cook.

Cook, a defender who can play centrally or at right-back, has been a key member of the Cherries side that tops the Championship table, playing every minute of the league campaign so far this season for Eddie Howe's side.

He joined Bournemouth for £150,000 in January 2012 and has made 122 appearances for the south coast club.
