Burnley have pulled back from talks for West Brom pair Craig Dawson and Jay Rodriguez.

The Daily Mail says West Brom are demanding £20m for Dawson and a similar amount for Jay Rodriguez, although it is thought a deal for the striker could be struck at £18m.

It is believed Burnley are only looking to make an outlay at £30m maximum so have decided to switch to alternative targets.

The club have identified a different prospective signings for each position are have begun to open dialogue.

Dawson handed in a transfer request to force through a Premier League move.
