Burnley defender Ben Mee reveals that the Clarets are still confident of avoiding relegation this season.
?Despite performing admirably, Burnley lost out 2-0 to Southampton on Saturday and the defeat means that the Lancashire based outfit are still occupying one of the bottom three positions in the Premier League.
?Nonetheless, Mee has revealed that the Clarets are still confident of avoiding the drop but insisted that they must be more efficient in front of goal, so as to turn their good performances into points.
?"We're positive still," he told the Lancashire Telegraph. "It wasn't an easy place to go. We're looking forward to the games coming up, Arsenal and Spurs, and we're still very confident.
?"We had chances, it's putting them away. We had the penalty that could have been given as well. But we didn't take our chances.
?"I thought we set our stall out really well and took the game to them, but it fizzled out a little bit towards the end. We gave as good as we got, especially in the first half. It was a good performance and we can take a lot from it."?
