Burnley play down interest for Liverpool target Ings

Burnley boss Sean Dyche says the club has received no official bids for in-form striker Danny Ings.

The 21-year old has scored has scored 11 league goals for the Championship high-fliers, for a total of 15 this season, prompting interest from the likes of Liverpool and Celtic.

But Dyche suggests there is plenty of speculation floating around regarding the England U21 international and suggests he is not too worried ahead of the January transfer window.

"It's the reality of people doing well. If you look across the divisions, forwards get the main headlines, but there are players in different positions at many different clubs," he told the Burnley Express.

"It's just a natural fact. I think it enhances it when you're doing well.

"There isn't any factual interest that I know. No-one has rung me, so that's factual, but there are a million stories."
