Burnley are tracking Mainz defender Giulio Donati.

Kicker says Burnley are plotting a €3.5 million bid for the Italian.

However, Mainz chief Rouven Schröder insists there's been no contact.

"There is nothing to it," he insisted when asked about the rumours.

Donati is tied to Mainz until 2019.
