Burnley No1 Jensen: Denmark would pick Schmeichel ahead of me!

Burnley goalkeeper Brian Jensen accepts a late World Cup call with Denmark is now unlikely.

The uncapped 34-year-old believes he is so far down the pecking order that the obstacles in his path include a 46-year-old who retired six years ago.

He said: "There’s probably more chance of Peter Schmeichel coming out of retirement then there is of me getting in. But it’s not my decision, it’s national team manager Morten Olsen’s.

"I’ll just try and do my best for Burnley."
