Sean Dyche knew taking his Burnley outfit to Liverpool on Wednesday night would be a difficult task.
The Clarets went down 2-0 at Anfield to the most in-form team in the Premier League which keeps the Lancashire club deep in the relegation mire.
Burnley will now prepare for the March 14 home clash with reigning premiers Manchester City and Dyche has urged them to be persistent as they strive to climb out of the bottom three by season's end.
"We knew it would be a stern task to come here tonight to get a win but we keep learning. We have a 10-day window to put it back together," said Dyche.
"We will be relentless all the way down the line."
