Burnley midfielder Scott Arfield dedicated his goal at Liverpool to his nephew Connor.

The draw was the first points Burnley had earned at Anfield since 1974.

Arfield said, “In football this is an iconic British stadium so to score here is brilliant and on a personal note it was fantastic.

“I just became an uncle last week, so I'd like to dedicate that to my wee nephew.

“We are very happy. In terms of football we never really played to the best of our abilities, but to get a point here is special and just shows the mentality has completely switched."
