Former Newcastle and Aston Villa winger Charles N'Zogbia is set to sign for Olympique Marseille.

N'Zogbia, a free agent, has been training with Sunderland since preseason, though was not offered terms.

Le 10 Sport says Marseille chief Gunter Jacob, who has been in England to negotiate the signing of Tottenham winger Clinton N'Jie, met with N'Zogbia yesterday.

The pair are said to have shaken hands on an agreement, which will see N'Zogbia move to Marseille.

The winger is also speaking with Middlesbrough and Burnley.
