Burnley manager Dyche dismisses history books

Sean Dyche is not a man who pays much attention to history and records.

The Burnley boss knows that his side must turn around their run of form if they are to remain in the Premier League.

They only have one point from five games this season. It is their worst start to a top flight campaign since 1927/1928, when they lost all five opening games.

"Of course, I thought we could do better, but records don't bother me," the Clarets chief said to the Lancashire Telegraph.

"I concern myself with the team, how individuals are performing."
