Burnley are set to complete the signing of Aston Villa defender Nathan Baker.

Despite losing star players such as Danny Ings and Kieran Trippier, Burnley manager Sean Dyche has managed to rebuild his squad this summer and the Clarets' boss is now eyeing another smart swoop by signing Baker.

It has been reported by the Lancashire Telegraph that Burnley have placed a bid of around £2million to sign Baker and the transfer is expected to be completed soon.
